Charlene Alouf

Dr. Alouf was awarded her doctoral degree from Albany Medical College, Albany, New York, in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology; her research involved the study of follicular regulatory factors within the ovary. Charlene remained at AMC completing a clinical fellowship in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, received her NYS license and was promoted to the Fertility Center Laboratory Director where she stayed for four years.

Charlene’s career took her to Philadelphia as the Laboratory Director for HAN Fertility Center. During her time there she held several off-sight Directorships in the Northeast, consulted with a fertility specialty biotech company and served as President of the Delaware Valley Reproductive Group. In 2016, Dr. Alouf left HAN Fertility to accept the position of PGT Clinical Specialist for Good Start Genetics/Invitae, a position that she continues to hold today. Charlene joined Chelsea Fertility as the Laboratory Director in 2017.
