Harvey Stern

Harvey J. Stern, MD, PhD, FACMG, FAAP joined GIVF in 1995 and is the Director of Reproductive Genetics and the Fetal Diagnostic Center.

Dr. Stern is board certified in pediatrics and medical genetics, with subspecialty board certification in clinical, biochemical and molecular genetics. He received his undergraduate degree in cell and molecular biology from Columbia College of Columbia University and completed a PhD in Human Genetics at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Stern provides services in Reproductive Genetics including prenatal testing by chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), First-trimester genetic screening, pre or peri-conceptual genetic counseling and testing and Level II obstetrical ultrasound.
