Michael Nückel

Dr Michael Nueckel first studied physics, then medicine, at universities in Bonn, Bochum and Essen.

After taking the state examination in medicine in 1983, he began his career as an anaesthetist in Hamburg. He completed his specialist training at the Hamburg-Eppendorf University Hospital.

In 1992, he established his own practice as an anaesthetist. Since late 1992, he worked closely with Dr Fischer in the IVF department of the Leidenberger, Bohnet, Weise and & Partners group practice. He carried out TIVA for reproductive medicine interventions - which has become the standard for anaesthesia in IVF treatment.

Since 1984 he has worked intensively with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), particularly in the field of fertility treatments at the FCH.
